Week 15 – Sunday December 17th

@ Washington Redskins

After two straight trips by the Redskins to the Valley, the Cardinals take their first trip to the nation’s capitol since 2011. The Skins have won seven straight games over the Cardinals at home.

This game also is taking place in December, which does lend itself to the possibility this could be a bad weather game in the cold.  The Cardinals won’t have a better opportunity for that to take place than this week.

The Cardinals got lucky in December in Philadelphia in 2015, maybe this will turn out alright weather-wise as well.  The Redskins missed the playoffs last season after making the playoffs in 2015.

The Cardinals can’t allow simple mistakes to do them in, which is typically how they lose games back east.  The last three losses in Washington have been by scores of 22-21, 24-17, and 21-19.

Last season the Skins came to Glendale and lost late to Palmer and the Cardinals 31-23.  The Cardinals offense will need to show up again but need to beware of any shootout.
