The Cardinals home opener will be on Monday Night Football against the Cowboys in week three

The Dallas Cowboys might be Super Bowl favorites in 2017. Last year, they rode rookie quarterback Dak Prescott and rookie running back Ezekiel Elliott to a 13-3 record, and the playoffs. They were the top seed, but tumbled against a red hot Green Bay Packers team.

The Cowboys surprised most people in 2016. They were expected to be a better team after going 4-12 the previous season. However, nobody could have foreseen Prescott being so good. A dominant offensive line benefited the rookie passer and Elliott as well, allowing Dallas to have one of the best offenses in the league.

Arizona has beaten the Cowboys in all three meetings this decade. However, they haven’t played since 2014. The Cardinals are an even 3-2 since 2010 on Monday Nights, while the Cowboys are 3-4 during that time.

The Cowboys spent a lot of resources trying to fix a defense that has struggled on defense in recent years. The Cardinals will try to exploit that. Arizona 24 – Dallas 21
