The Arizona Cardinals catch their first sub-.500 team from last year in week four with the San Francisco 49ers

The fall of the San Francisco 49ers has been well documented. They played in a Super Bowl in 2012 and the conference championship game in 2013. Since then, though, they’ve gone 15-33 and have been dreadful. Last season, they finished at 2-14.

Last season, the 49ers were a good running team, but one of the NFL’s worst passing teams. On the other side of the ball, they were struggled against the run. Defensive stats were a little mis-leading since they were often behind and faced more runs late in games.

The Cardinals have won five of six games, including all three home games, against the 49ers since 2013. It’s a game the Cardinals will be favored in heavily, but for good reason.

The 49ers are rebuilding, and doing a solid job of it, but still don’t have a quarterback. The Cardinals should take advantage, especially at home. Arizona 27 – San Francisco 10
