The Bad:

Offensive and Defensive lines

Both of the Cardinals lines had a night I’m sure they would like to forget for the most part. Starters on both sides were having difficulty, particularly in the run game.

The offensive line had a hard time making holes available for the Cardinals running backs.  David Johnson rushed three times for three yards.  Andre Ellington led all Cardinals backs with 11-yards rushing.  That was one five carries.  Hardly impressive.

When backup quarterback Drew Stanton has the best rushing statistic of the evening, things are not going your way.  He had one carry for eight yards.

Guys like guard Mike Iupati, center A.Q. Shipley, and D.J. Humphries all struggled to hold their ground on Saturday night.  Humphries at least called himself out after the game.

As for the defensive line, they allowed Bears running back Tarik Cohen carry the ball 11 times for 77-yards.  One run went for 25-yards.

The lone exception on the defensive line in terms of not showing up was Robert Nkemdiche.  For the third week in a row he was out there making plays.  He has clearly showed up a different player this preseason.
