The Ugly

Dropped passes

What will it take to get the Cardinals receivers to catch the ball.  We know what Fitz can do but this is directed at guys like J.J. Nelson and John Brown.

Once again, both of them failed to show any consistency in catching the ball.  It’s bad enough that Cardinals quarterbacks have to throw behind the offensive line they have.

However the quarterbacks can’t throw and catch.  Guys like Nelson and Brown should be catching balls consistently now.  They don’t need to be perfect but they can’t be dropping everything either.

Maybe it is time for Chad Williams to be given a chance to show what he can do?  The 2017 third round pick has played in just two games this season.

Penalties

The Cardinals had 10 penalties on Sunday for a total of 90-yards.  Those penalties kept Houston drives alive.

They also mean better field position.  They mean more time on the field for the defense.  Just too many of them.
