Denver Broncos

Normally we’d say the Cardinals shouldn’t be too excited to see the Broncos on the schedule for next season.  After all, the Broncos are 7-1 against the Cardinals in their eight contests since the Cardinals moved to Arizona.

The lone victory came in 2010 when the Cardinals defeated the Broncos 43-13 in Glendale.  Then kicker Jay Feely scored 24 of those points on his own, including a five-yard touchdown run.

That was also the last time the Broncos visited University of Phoenix Stadium.  This will be just their third regular season visit to the stadium.  They’ve played a number of preseason games there.

The Broncos and Cardinals have one thing in common this offseason.  They are both trying to find their future starting quarterback.  The Broncos struggled with the three they had and the Cardinals lost theirs to retirement.

One team or the other may end up with the guy the other wanted.  If that’s the case, then this could be one of the more interesting games of the season.
