3. Ram Trucks (Vikings)

While not a huge Ram Trucks fan, or a fan of Dodge for that matter, this was a smart commercial.  They played off the Minnesota Vikings not getting to the Super Bowl in their own city.

Vikings congregate signing “We will Rock You” en route to the Super Bowl.  A SiriusXM in the truck hints that they are about to show tonight’s game matchup (as we know it to the be the Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots).

These Vikings realize this as they enter the city limits of Minneapolis.  The guys in the cab of the truck look at each other and realize, yeah, its time to turn around.  Genius.

Its the subtleness of the commercial that makes it smart.  Sure, many understood what it meant.  Likely not all though.

It was enough for us to get a laugh at the Vikings and their fans.  Hopefully Vikings fans saw the humor in it.  One only wonders what they would have done had the Vikings actually made it to the big game?
