Andrew Norwell

We get it, he’s the best offensive lineman in the free market.  He has connections with the coaches in Arizona from being with the Carolina Panthers.

He is also going to command a huge payday.  If you pay him, there is no way the Cardinals are going to be able to get even a mid-level quarterback in free agency.

That would leave the Cardinals likely signing a lower-tier veteran to back up what would end up being a top draft pick that would almost assuredly be have to ready to start day from day one.

Even behind a guard like Norwell, there would still need to be other pieces to fall into place on an offensive line that is definitely more than one big signing away from being decent again.

Like the player Norwell is.  That’s not in question.  The time is not right though for him to end up in Arizona.  If they do get him though, don’t look for any other mid to top level free agents to come here.
