Week 5 – at San Francisco 49ers

The Cardinals seem to have the 49ers number over the past few seasons.  Many feel like that changes in 2018 with Jimmy Garoppolo now the starting quarterback.

Garoppolo was traded to the 49ers ahead of their meeting with the Cardinals in San Francisco in 2017 but did not play.  Barring injury, he will start this one.

A lot of people feel like the 49ers are ready to step back into the spotlight.  The question is, will this be a better game than the 20-10 victory the Cardinals put up on San Francisco at Levi’s Stadium?

The Cardinals will have to play error-free football to have a chance in this one.  The 49ers were close in both games against them last season.  The Cardinals last saw Garoppolo to open the 2016 season when he started for the New England Patriots.
