Week 8 – San Francisco 49ers

The Cardinals will get their second shot at Jimmy Garoppolo and the 49ers, this time in Arizona.  Last year’s game between these two teams at UOP Stadium ended with a thrilling overtime touchdown pass from Carson Palmer to Larry Fitzgerald.

Although Palmer is no longer around, Fitz is.  This may be his last game against the 49ers ever.  Let’s hope he makes it count.

As long as it doesn’t resemble the field goal fest we had last season, then anything would be better.  This year it will take touchdowns, not field goals, to beat the 49ers.

So, as long as Bradford is healthy (notice a recurring theme here), then the Cardinals should have a great shot of putting balls in the end zone instead of the uprights.  Then again, that’s just wishful thinking but we’ll go with it for now.

This game will be different than the one in San Francisco.  It typically is.
