Day Two (Second and Third rounds)

The Cardinals started right where they left off on Friday evening.  They got their quarterback, now they needed their receiver.

Receiver was a big need for the Cardinals.  They did need a cornerback as well but some good ones were falling off the board early in the second round.

The Cardinals selected Christian Kirk out of Texas A&M.  This pick was a no-brainer.  A local favorite who could end up being the slot receiver of the future and has the chance to learn from the best in Larry Fitzgerald

Grade: A

The third round selection the Cardinals decided to make some noise on the offensive line.  They probably couldn’t have done any better at this spot than getting a high-quality center.

Mason Cole out of Michigan was the choice.  He is a powerful center who can play more than one position on the offensive line.  He eventually could be a starter on a line that needs the improvement.
