The Arizona Cardinals ended up keeping 10 players for their offensive line in 2018

One of the biggest failures of the 2017 season had to be the offensive line when discussing what went wrong last season.  Certainly injuries played a part and some of those injuries came from the line.

Coming into this season however, everyone seems to be healthy.  They did lose starting center A.Q. Shipley for the season to a torn ACL early in camp.

Other than that setback, the first team offensive line played well in the preseason.  The backups still leave a lot to be desired but based on roster movement after the final 53-man roster was released on Saturday, the Cardinals are doing all they can to improve that.

The Cardinals released 2016 draft pick Evan Boehm and 2017 draft pick Will Holden on Sunday.  It would seem the Cardinals are ready to leave the past behind and get better up front.

With a fragile starting quarterback and a franchise quarterback backing him up, it is important the offensive line be a lot better than how they performed last season.  Having healthy bodies certainly is a great first step to that improvement.

Let’s take a look at the 10 men that currently make up the Cardinals offensive line.  They should be much more exciting to watch in 2018.
