Trent Sherfield

This rookie out of Vanderbilt showed real promise from the day he was signed as an undrafted free agent.  This kid can play.

You wonder why and how guys like this slip through the cracks and go undrafted?  Well the Cardinals took a chance on him.  Sherfield came through in camp and the preseason.

Now it is time to see what he can do.  He will have to make plays when his number is called.  People have short memories in this league, especially for the lesser known.

Sherfield though has a very good chance at making a name for himself.  How much he is used remains to be seen.

You can be rest assured though if one of the guys above him on the depth chart doesn’t hold up their end of the bargain, Sherfield is going to get his shot.

No problem at safety for the Arizona Cardinals. dark. Next

He has a chance to not only make a name but become a fan favorite.  He is the type of player we root for.
