David Johnson

He’s starting to come around.  He had 71-yards rushing last Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks.  Sure, it came on 22-carries, however he did have a long run of 21-yards.

He also became involved in the passing game.  He had three receptions for 41-yards.  If they utilize him more often in the passing game, then good things are bound to happen.

Of course that will mean offensive coordinator Mike McCoy needs to call a better game.  The jury is definitely still out on whether we will see a well called game or not this season.

That said, Johnson got 25 touches overall.  That is exactly what the Cardinals need from him in order to succeed.  Hopefully the offensive line can open up a few more holes and get Johnson over 100-yards.

It has been a progression and week four was definitely light years ahead of what the first three weeks were like.  Now, if we can just get Johnson to pick up blitzes more often.
