Cardinals are changing colors, effective immediately

It would seem odd to do it midseason but if the NFL gives them their blessing, then try it.  Could you imagine changing a color scheme much less a uniform update, especially midseason.

The Arizona Diamondbacks changed their colors and uniforms, but that was in between seasons.  Since this one is close to officially over for the Cardinals, why not get a jump start on 2019 by updating the colors?

Actually this would be a bad idea.  These are the redbirds.  While not a great franchise history being in red and white as the Cardinals, it is who they are.

Not everyone was excited when the Diamondbacks moved off of purple and teal to red, gray, and white.  Sure, some complained about the teal, but they only had the color scheme for nine years.

Whatever the announcement is honestly, let’s just hope it doesn’t become a distraction.  If it is truly a business, off the field announcement, then really in the grand scheme of things, so what?

It is the intrigue leading up to it that is the fun part.  Just please no color rush uniforms.
