NFC opponents will be awaiting come December but after the bye the Arizona Cardinals travel through the AFC West in November

It’s almost as if the schedule makers did this on purpose.  Oh wait, they probably did schedule the Arizona Cardinals against the AFC West in November on purpose.

Of course no one knew how this year’s version of the Cardinals would turn out when the schedule came out this past April.  November could have been a month to breathe a bit from the rigors of the NFC West and NFC Conference races.

Instead it now appears the Cardinals will be lucky to win one of the three games against the AFC West this month.  That one victory could come on November 18th against the Oakland Raiders.

If anyone watched the Raiders play the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday night, them you know just how bad the Cardinals will need to play in order to lose that game at State Farm Stadium.  Then again, seeing just how bad the Cardinals can play, nothing is a given.

When is as close to a given as you’ll get will be the Cardinals return to the field next Sunday November 11th against the Kansas City Chiefs.  Live from Arrowhead Stadium will be what is likely going to amount to be a pure whipping.

The Chiefs have an almost unstoppable offense.  The Cardinals defense has not been able to stop most offenses so far this season outside of the 49ers, even then the 49ers ran up and down the field in their first meeting.

The Cardinals will finish off the month with another trip to southern California to face the Los Angeles Chargers.  The Cardinals beat them in preseason back in August but that was a long time ago and the Chargers are a different team.

In other words at best the Cardinals are facing a 1-2 record in November after the bye week.  We know the old saying, on any given Sunday.  You can probably sweep that under the rug next week but we can still give them an outside chance to pull one out in Los Angeles.
