Golden Tate

The Detroit Lions surprisingly traded him to the Philadelphia Eagles in mid season in 2018.  Tate was a main reason for the late season resurrection of the Eagles for their run to the playoffs.

Without Tate, the Eagles arguably would have missed the playoffs.  He made a huge catch a couple of weeks ago in their Wild-Card playoff game against the Chicago Bears.

However now his future is up in the air.  People are skeptical that he will return to Philadelphia but there are number of factors that go into that.  Money for one.

So if money is the biggest factor in where he lands in 2019, then are the Cardinals even able to be mentioned in the same breath?  Tate provides a spark that a guy like Cardinals quarterback Josh Rosen could use.

While unlikely he lands in Arizona, it is still a shot the Cardinals should take.  At least make an offer.  If he turns it down, he turns it down.

Tate has always been a lot of fun to watch and in new head coach Kilff Kingsbury’s offense, Tate could see a lot of balls come his way.  Of course this only happens if Fitz does not return to Arizona in 2019.
