Week 17 – @ Los Angeles Rams

Sunday December 29, 2019 – 2:25 p.m.

This could be interesting.  A 10-5 Cardinals team heading into Los Angeles on the final day of the season.  The Rams likely have the division wrapped up here at this point.

Will the Rams have incentive?  They might if it means playoff positioning for their opponent, the Cardinals.  So, IF the Cardinals are still in a wild-card chase here, the Rams will play everyone.

The Cardinals also finished the 2016 season in Los Angeles, Goff’s rookie season with the Rams.  That one ended 44-6.  This one won’t.

This could also be a good gauge to see how much further the Cardinals have closed the gap on the Rams.  In the end, it is still hard to see the Cardinals breaking through.

Any given Sunday is the saying but probably just not until 2020.  The Rams will prevail here.  The biggest question will be does it knock the Cardinals out of a playoff race or not?

The Cardinals will finish the season 10-6.  This is being predicted before we know what happens this Thursday in the draft.  Either way, this record is achievable with the current roster in place and assuming the Cardinals will either grab Murray or a stud defensive player in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
