Vs. Baker Mayfield

Why we want to see it: There is so much history between Kliff Kingsbury, Kyler Murray, and Baker Mayfield. Before taking over college football as an Oklahoma Sooner, Mayfield played for Kingsbury’s Texas Tech squad and ultimately lost the starting job to Patrick Mahomes. He then transferred to Oklahoma and the rest was history.

Murray had a similar path to Oklahoma as he transferred after one season at Texas A&M. After winding up in Norman, Murray backed up none other than Mayfield for a season before starting in his final year. The similarities don’t end there; both Murray and Mayfield won the Heisman Trophy at Oklahoma and wound up being No. 1 overall picks in back-to-back drafts.

When it’ll happen: Luckily, we won’t have to wait very long to see the hyped Cardinals vs. Browns matchup. The two will face each other in week 14 on December 15th. The game will be the Cardinals last regular season home game of the season.

We can expect to see a thrilling game, with yet another tie-in involved. Newly hired Browns’ head coach Freddie Kitchens coached with the Cardinals from 2007 to 2017. The Browns offense will be as high-powered as ever too, as Odell Beckham Jr. and Kareem Hunt join an already dangerous Mayfield-led attack.
