Arizona Cardinals: Updated 2019 projected 53-man roster

As for the Cardinals defense, so much here below could be different come end of August and start of September.  A lot depends on whether the Cardinals go after any other free agents.

Listed below is Terrell McClain, who at this point is just a visit.  Nothing so far says he will even be a member of the team.  For now we assume his credentials get him a look this summer.

The cornerback position will change when Peterson returns.  Brandon Williams is on thin ice.  As we noted before, his special teams contributions may save him to at least start 2019.

We’ve got six cornerbacks and four safeties here.  Not sure if it will really pan out that way but based on the current roster, again it is a best guess.

As for special teams, kicker Zane Gonzalez and long snapper Aaron Brewer do not have any competition. Punter Andy Lee does have some competition in Ryan Winslow, for now.

DL: Zach Allen, Rodney Gunter, Darius Philon, Robert Nkemdiche, Corey Peters, Vincent Valentine, **Terrell McClain

ILB: Jordan Hicks, Haason Reddick, Zeke Turner, Dennis Gardeck

S: Budda Baker, Rudy Ford, D.J. Swearinger, Deointe Thompson
