Sam Bradford

Many fans knew the result of the Sam Bradford singing before the ink was even dry on the contract last year.  Bradford isn’t the worst quarterback by any stretch but he was thrown into an offense that gave him no chance to succeed.

Many fans didn’t give him a chance to make it far last season because of injury.  However after they drafted Rosen number 10 in the first round of the 2018 draft, it was clear they wanted to give him a shot at the first sign of trouble.

The Cardinals thought they could get another stop-gap quarterback.  Unfortunately the Cardinals could not lure other high-profile free agent quarterbacks to the Valley.  They were stuck with Bradford.

He lasted all of three weeks before Bradford was benched for Rosen permanently.  Rosen started week four of the 2018 season and Bradford’s days were numbered.  He spent the following week inactive and then was released.
