#88 Ernie Jones

Jones played five his six NFL seasons with the Cardinals from 1988-1993.  He caught 210 passes for 3,274-yards during his time in Arizona.

He only eclipsed the 60 receptions mark once, that was in 1991, however he was a guy that could be relied upon to get the ball when needed.  That season of ’91 was the only one in which he was a full-time starter.

He caught 18 touchdowns for the Cardinals before two more with the Los Angeles Rams in 1993.  He had some memorable moments for the Cardinals as well.

In his rookie season of 1988, he caught a touchdown from quarterback Neil Lomax in a fourth quarter comeback against the San Francisco 49ers.  He then caught a couple of huge clutch passes in the following offensive drive to help complete a 24-23 win after being down 23-0 at one point in the second half.

Though he failed to ever reach 1,000-yards in a season, he came close in that ’91 season.  He finished with 957-yards that year.
