#73 Tyrann Mathieu

Considered a gamble when general manager Steve Keim took him in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft, he surprised many by keeping his nose clean and staying out of trouble after missing his last season at LSU because of disciplinary and legal issues.

Mathieu early on did not disappoint.  He had 11 interceptions in his five seasons with the Cardinals.  Five of those interceptions took place in the Cardinals 13-3 season of 2015.

Unfortunately it would be the second season that would end early for Mathieu due to a torn ACL.  It was also the second time it happened late in the season in December.

He never seemed himself again after that point.  Had he not been hampered by injury issues, he may have found himself much higher up on this all-time list.

He had 15 quarterback hits in his five seasons in Arizona.  He was all over the place.  They don’t call him Honey Badger for nothing.
