The injury front

There have been a couple of minor injuries the team has had over the past couple of days.  These players likely won’t be participating in the practice on Saturday.

Linebacker Brooks Reed, who just came off the PUP list on this week, suffered a minor injury on Wednesday.  It is not related to his hip, the reason he was on the PUP list.  He is expected to be out a few days.

Receiver Andy Isabella, the team’s second round pick, has a minor knee injury.  He will also likely be out on Saturday and his status for next week’s preseason opener against the Los Angeles Chargers is unknown.

Center A.Q. Shipley is battling second-year center Mason Cole for the starting job.  As you may remember, it was in last years Red-White practice that Shipley tore his ACL and missed the entire 2018 season.  He will be participating on Saturday as he attempts his comeback from the injury.
