Pete Robertson

Some people on social media on Thursday night didn’t even know who Pete Robertson was before the game.  If they didn’t know then, they do now.

The Texas Tech product was all over the field on Thursday night.  He ended the evening officially with two tackles, one for a sack.

Unofficially it was better than that.  Robertson had seemingly returned a fumble for a touchdown.  However the officials ruled that Chargers quarterback Cardale Jones‘ knee had hit the ground first.

It was a close call but one that was so close, it seemed like it couldn’t be overturned because it wasn’t enough to overrule the call on the field, which was a touchdown.

Robertson however will have to live without the score.  He will show up on film doing all these things though and that’s what will count.  We all should be looking forward to seeing what he can do next week.
