D.J. Foster

Here is another guy that had his journey railroaded by injury.  Coming off a season-ending ACL injury from last preseason, Foster has worked his way back.  However now he finds himself at the bottom of the depth chart.

He is on the last line with running back Wes Hills.  Foster had two carries for minus 1-yard on Thursday night.  Hills meanwhile had eight carries for 37-yards and a touchdown.

Right now if the team were to have to make a decision between the two, Hills would win.  Foster is a great guy in the community.  That won’t get him a spot though.

T.J. Logan looked good on Thursday night too.  They may only keep three running backs.  Foster is also competing with rookie Dontae Strickland who had two carries for nine-yards in the victory over the Chargers.

Even if the Cardinals want to keep four running backs, Foster is still on the outside looking in.  Time to step it up.
