After 2019 preseason week three’s game is in the books, a look at the current projected Arizona Cardinals 53-man roster

There are new faces and new players on the newest version of the Arizona Cardinals 53-man roster after their week three preseason loss to the Minnesota Vikings.  The Cardinals lost 20-9 on Saturday but had some very good performances in the loss.

The starters played their best game of the preseason.  There were some roster moves this week that also changed what the new projected roster looks like.

Offense

QB (2): Kyler Murray, Brett Hundley

WR (7): Larry Fitzgerald, Christian Kirk, Michael Crabtree, KeeSean Johnson, Andy Isabella, Trent Sherfield, Damiere Byrd

RB (4): David Johnson, Chase Edmonds, T.J. Logan, D.J. Foster

TE (3): Charles Clay, Maxx Williams, Ricky Seals-Jones

OL (10): D.J. Humphries, Justin Pugh, J.R. Sweezy, A.Q. Shipley, Mason Cole, Marcus GIlbert, Rees Odhiambo, Colby Gossett, Lamont Gaillard, Jeremy Vujnovich

The trick here is will the Cardinals decide to keep three or four running backs?  The versatility of D.J. Foster as a rusher and receiver helps his cause.  He had one catch for nine yards on Saturday in Minnesota.

Tight end figures to keep three but the broadcast on Saturday made it seem like there was a question on Clay.  As far as we see it, he should be there.
