AFC South

Houston Texans 9-7

Jacksonville Jaguars  6-10

Tennessee Titans 6-10

Indianapolis Colts 5-11

This could be the biggest disaster of a division top to bottom in the NFL.  Still, they might be all so close together in the standings, it could be one of the closest we see come December down the stretch.

The Texans seem like they will be the best team.  The certainly have a defense and they still have DeShaun Watson at quarterback.  Deondre Hopkins is still one of the best receivers in the NFL.

But will they be the only above .500 team?  It sure seems like it.  The Colts were jolted with the sudden retirement of quarterback Andrew Luck.

Playoff contenders: Texans

As much as the Texans wanted to get rid of as many players as they could in the offseason, they are still the class of the division.  It wasn’t that great in 2018 and it didn’t get much better in 2019.

Division’s best player in 2019: J.J. Watt
