Tackles

D.J. Humphries, Marcus Gilbert, Joshua Miles, Brett Toth, Justin Murray

Humphries has seen his season end prematurely each of the last two seasons.  If he can stay healthy, then there is no reason he can’t have a big season protecting Kyler Murray’s blind side.

As noted earlier, Gilbert is already having issues with his knee.  He’s missed a lot of time the last couple of seasons with injury.  That means a lot of Brett Toth, who the Cardinals just signed as a free agent off the waiver wire last week.

Toth is an interesting story.  He was picked up after being released by the Philadelphia Eagles.  He got a release from the Department of Defense to play football since he has a commitment to the Army.

Joshua Miles was a pleasant surprise in camp and should get some time behind Humphries on the left side.  Justin Murray was claimed off waivers as well from the Oakland Raiders.  That pickup did excite a number of Cardinals fans last weekend.
