Quinton Jefferson

The Seahawks defensive line has not been overpowering so far this season but they are still a group to pay attention to.  As a defense, the Seahawks have just 6 sacks so far.

However 2 of those sacks belong to defensive tackle Quinton Jefferson.  He not only has a third of the team’s sacks but also has 2 passes defensed.

This is someone that Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray likely has on his radar this week.  Murray may not have had any balls batted against the Carolina Panthers last week but Jefferson looms this Sunday.

Jefferson started 12 of 16 games last season, becoming a starter for the first time in his career since being drafted by the Seahawks in the 5th round of the 2016 NFL Draft.  He had 3 sacks all of last year, so he’s quickly learning to do the job more consistently.

Next. Strides being made by Cardinals offense. dark

The Cardinals offensive line again has it’s work cut out for them.  Hopefully Murray will find a way to avoid Jefferson at all costs on Sunday.
