Missed tackles

This was pretty much an issue all day.  It was particularly evident on the Seahawks last offensive drive of the game.

With a chance to get back into the ball game after scoring a touchdown to make it a 20-10 contest with over 10 minutes remaining, the defense could have gotten the ball right back.  However, it was not to be.

They couldn’t stop anyone.  Missed tackles left and right.  Seahawks running back Chris Carson had his way all afternoon.  He took down 5 Cardinals for 7-yards on a 2 and 7 to get a first down.

They couldn’t tackle either of the Seahawks tight ends, Luke Willson or Will Dissly.  Linebacker Haason Reddick, safety D.J. Swearinger, and cornerback Kevin Peterson, just to name a few, could not bring down Carson or anyone else.

This too has been an on-going issue since week 1 of the preseason, so this is nothing new.  It is just more glaring at this point and happening more often.
