Missed touchdown by that much

They don’t call him the goat for nothing.  Larry Fitzgerald is the best receiver not only in Arizona Cardinals history but is a top 3 in history in the NFL receiver.  He is arguably the best player period in Cardinals history.

This doesn’t mean he won’t make mistakes from time to time.  Even the one on Sunday really wasn’t a mistake.  It was more of what we are calling a missed opportunity.

The Cardinals seemingly had a touchdown in the 2nd quarter when Kyler Murray threw a beautiful pass to the 16-year wideout.  However quickly we came to the realization that Fitz did not get his second foot down in-bounds prior to falling out of bounds.

It was still a good catch but not one that counted.  He’s made that play many times over his career.  We aren’t going to be angry at all with Fitz.  We just see it as an opportunity to take the lead missed in this one.
