3 best things about Arizona Cardinals not playing Sunday
By Scott Allen
Get housework done
Seriously. I’ve done it. Of course football is still on the television but it doesn’t require my undivided attention.
Housework that has been sitting around waiting to be done for weeks can now be completed. Those poop stains in the toilet, the dust balls collected next to the lamps on the end tables, and the carpets that haven’t seen a vacuum since August can all be addressed.
Plus, this is something you can control. Want to skip a couple of chores because you want to go wild that Buffalo Bills receiver Cole Beasley, who has just been substituted into your fantasy lineup, scored a rare touchdown.
You can’t control what the Cardinals do on the field every Sunday. Oh you think you can, but you can’t. Not only is it stress-free, it is all controlled by you.
Or, you can just sit and skip the housework till the bye week. That might be the better option if you are hosting a Thanksgiving dinner 4 days before the big holiday at the end of the month.
