Best Troll Job

When the Cardinals decided to announce that running back David Johnson was active and playing against the New York Giants back in October, that was music to the ears of fantasy football owners everywhere.  That was, until he really didn’t play at all.

You can thank ESPN’s Matthew Berry for keeping this subject alive all during the Cardinals 6-game losing streak.  Berry, who was mad at the Cardinals for tweeting “You should have started Chase Edmonds in fantasy”, couldn’t let it go.

For the next 6 weeks after every Cardinals loss, Berry would tweet out that the Cardinals are 0-1, 0-2, etc, since this tweet.  Funny he didn’t say a thing after the Cardinals won each of the last 2 weeks.

Still, it was a fantastic job by the social media director of the Cardinals.  Sure, we get why fantasy owners were upset but the post game tweet was phenomenal.  For sure it was level 1 trolling.
