Week 11: Sunday November 22nd

Philadelphia Eagles

Another matchup where all of a sudden the quarterback is in question.  Will Carson Wentz still be leading his team when these two play in 2020?

This one will be in Glendale.  It will be the Eagles first trip to Arizona since 2014.  That was pre-Wentz.  Nick Foles was the starting quarterback for the Eagles back then when the Cardinals defeated the Eagles 24-20.

The Cardinals last defeated the Eagles in 2015, 40-17.  That was running back David Johnson’s breakout game.  However the last time these two teams faced each other in 2017, the Cardinals were whipped 34-7 in Philadelphia

Wentz threw 4 touchdowns that afternoon.  It was pretty much over before it started.  Let’s hope that’s not the case no matter when these two tangle in 2020.

The Eagles just have to figure out their receiving situation.  They were decimated by injuries and poor play in 2019 by the group.
