Week 3: Sunday September 27th
at Carolina Panthers
The question is, will the Cardinals come home on back to back east coast trips or stay back east? They had to do it in 2019 going to New York then New Orleans. They came home between games.
The Panthers will have new coach Matt Rhule in tow. They will however be without linebacker Luke Kuechly, who abruptly retired last week.
One thing we do know is history has not treated the Cardinals well here. The Cardinals last visit to Carolina was in October 2016. They dropped a 30-20 contest.
That was also on the heals of of a 49-15 thrashing earlier that year in January at the NFC Championship Game. There’s also the 27-14 Wild Card game loss in January 2014.
The Cardinals will still have to contend with Christian McCaffrey but we don’t know who the Cardinals will have to face as Panthers quarterback. It could be Kyle Allen, Cam Newton, or even someone not on the radar yet.
