Week 9: Sunday November 8th

at New England Patriots

This one will be circled on a lot of Cardinals fans calendars.  Right now we don’t know for sure who will be leading the Patriots on the sidelines or quarterback.

The best bet is the Cardinals will still be facing Bill Belichick and Tom Brady.  However stranger things have happened.

This is likely also going to be a destination trip for many Cardinals fans in 2019, especially if the game actually gets played in week 9 here as predicted or earlier in the season.  Like New Jersey, this will be the first trip to Massachusetts for the Cardinals since 2012.

In that 2012 game, the Cardinals shocked a lot of people by winning 20-18 with Kevin Kolb as quarterback.  The Cardinals tried to fumble away the game but the Patriots did one better with the kicking woes of Stephen Gostkowski missing a field goal.

The last time these two played was in 2016, right after trading away Chandler Jones to the Cardinals.  The Patriots won the season opener 23-21.
