The Cardinals have had good luck recently with their run of draft picks from the University of Washington.  First with drafting safety Budda Baker 3 years ago and then last season drafting cornerback Byron Murphy, Jr.

It’s no secret Cardinals fans want the team to draft a receiver.  They are hoping for a Cee Dee Lamb or Jerry Jeudy.  That may not happen though.

Reasons why the Cardinals should be interested:

He may be short but he’s quick.  He may be better suited as a slot receiver per the profile put together by The Draft Network. With Larry Fitzgerald’s career winding down, a young slot receiver could be just what the Cardinals need.

Reasons why the Cardinals would not be interested:

Inconsistent performance.  A knock is he can catch the hard ones but drops the easy ones.  The Cardinals are going to need a consistent performer.

He’s also fairly short at 5’11.  Certainly that hasn’t hindered quarterback Kyler Murray much but the Cardinals may be better suited to find a target Murray will be able to see easier.
