Maxx Williams

Tight end has been a difficult position for the Cardinals to get right consistently.  Then again, tight end hasn’t exactly been a position the last few head coaches had many plans for.

However when tight end Maxx Williams came to the Cardinals, leaving the Baltimore Ravens, it was exciting to know what kind of player they were getting.  Williams is a tough hard worker.

Williams comes from a football family.  His dad and grandfather both played in the NFL. His grandfather was a quarterback at Notre Dame. Maxx played at Minnesota.

Just watching him interact on Twitter with people tells you what kind of guy he is.  He sent out a thank you to the Ravens after he left for Arizona.  He seems to get along with his teammates.

Of course, there is his football story.  Aside from his family football ties, he was on the First Team All-Big Ten at Minnesota.  It could be a fun discussion.
