5. at San Francisco 49ers (week 1)

So the NFL thought it would be fun to get the road game in San Francisco over with for the Cardinals.  Maybe they thought they were doing the Cardinals a favor here?

The opening line for the game is -8.5 49ers.  Ok, I can’t stop laughing at this one.  Put your money on the Cardinals if you have the chance.

That said, this will be one of the toughest games on the schedule.  Since this is happening in the season opener, there is a very good chance this game will be played in front of zero fans.

Santa Clara County in California has already said they can’t see allowing fans in stands for any sporting event in the bay area before Thanksgiving.  That might make it slightly easier for the Cardinals.

The Cardinals went to San Francisco last season and opened a 16-0 lead before falling 36-26.  However the Cardinals lead that game 26-23 with a couple of minutes left in the game.  Unfortunately their defense and shenanigans let them down.
