Second act: Arizona Cardinals vs Seattle Seahawks
By Scott Allen
Key Injuries
Arizona: Corey Peters was ruled out for the season on Tuesday. He tore a tendon in his knee against the Buffalo Bills this past Sunday.
They will also be without defensive linemen Jordan Phillips, Leki Fotu and offensive lineman Justin Murray. They also have several questionable for the game including linebacker De’Vondre Campbell, tight ends Maxx Williams and Darrell Daniels, and safety Charles Washington.
The Cardinals aren’t alone in the long list of the banged up. Seattle’s list looks just as bad:
Seattle: They will be without at least 5 key players on Thursday. They include cornerbacks Shaquill Griffin, Quinton Dunbar, and Neiko Thorpe. They are also going to be without center Ethan Pocic and guard Jordan Simmons.
Running back will be interesting for the Seahawks as well. They will be without Chris Carson. He’s officially listed as questionable but most likely will not play. Also Travis Homer is doubtful.
This means the running game load will fall on Carlos Hyde. He is also on the injury list but is expected to play.
