January

Week 17: Sunday January 2nd – @ Jacksonville Jaguars

Two regular season games in January for the first time thanks to the now 17-game schedule.  It would be really nice if the NFL scheduled this game for the first week of January in Florida.

We likely don’t get that lucky but we can all dream, right? It will be the Cardinals first look in person at presumptive first round pick, quarterback Trevor Lawrence.

Week 18: Sunday January 9th – vs. San Francisco 49ers

Since week 17 has to be a divisional game, why not the 49ers at home?  Again this is just a prediction but this would give the Cardinals a start and finish at home.

Who knows where we will be at in the standings come January 9th?  Remember this game last season helped put the lights out on the playoffs for the Cardinals.

If this schedule prediction is even a 10 percent correct, its a small victory.  However, its more based on what we think the NFL will do loosely based on hopes and how they’ve scheduled in the past.

No specific date has been given yet on the schedule release.  Last season it was moved to May because of the pandemic. Traditionally it has been in April just prior to the draft.

There are reports it could be released in May however this year once again.  Either way, we can’t wait.
