With the full list of the top 50 NFL players for 2021 according to PFF now released, we now know that only one Arizona Cardinals player was included.

During the last few weeks, fans of the Arizona Cardinals haven’t exactly been enjoying some of the content that has been released by Pro Football Focus.

At the beginning of June, they made the decision to rank Cardinals safety Budda Baker outside of the top 15 on their list of the top 32 safeties in the NFL for 2021. Baker wasn’t very fond of that choice and neither were the majority of Arizona fans.

A little before that, PFF slotted Cardinals linebacker Isaiah Simmons in the No. 32 spot on their top 32 linebackers list. Arizona fans weren’t too pleased with that either.

One Arizona Cardinals player is worthy of a top 50 ranking by PFF

More disdain from Cardinals fans should be coming for PFF in the near future after they released their final choices for the top 50 players in the league right now on Friday, or what they like to refer to as the PFF50.

This is because only one player from Arizona’s current roster was deemed worthy of a spot on PFF’s top 50 list. DeAndre Hopkins is the lone representative of the Cardinals on the PFF50, and at this point, no one should really be surprised.

PFF passed on Baker, passed on Arizona quarterback Kyler Murray, and they even passed on including Rodney Hudson on their list, someone who they recently ranked as the top center in the NFL heading into the 2021 season.

Hudson is probably the biggest snub from the Cardinals roster given how well he has been graded by PFF during the last few years. However, a case could be made for Murray and Baker to be included on the list as well.

It is what it is and now the top guys on Arizona’s roster can just use this disrespect from PFF as motivation to perform at an extremely high level in 2021.
