Week 6

Cleveland Browns (Away)

  • Date: Sunday, October 17
  • Time: 1:05 p.m. MST
  • TV: FOX

This is going to be a much better matchup than when these teams last met in 2019. That was the Kenyan Drake four-touchdown game in a drubbing of a Browns team that was climbing out of going 0-17 the year before. Cleveland nearly won the AFC championship instead of Kansas City last year, and the Browns had a stellar draft that will make them the favorites in this one.

Prediction: Cardinals lose (3-3)

Week 7

Houston Texans (Home)

  • Date: Sunday, October 24
  • Time: 1:25 p.m. MST
  • TV: FOX

After a 3-game losing skid, the Cardinals face the embattled Houston Texans at home. While some will think this is a blowout in the making, the Texans might just play a trap game and keep this way too close for comfort.

Prediction: Cardinals win (4-3)

Week 8

Green Bay Packers (Home)

  • Date: Thursday, October 28
  • Time: 5:20 p.m. MST
  • TV: FOX, NFL Network

This matchup between Arizona and Green Bay has produced some of the most epic playoff games. Arizona has actually beaten Green Bay the past two times they’ve faced off in the regular season. The 2015 matchup was a blowout, and the 2018 win came, in which Mason Crosby missed the game-tying kick as time expired (and being there for that game was incredible.)

The Cardinals aren’t so lucky this time, as Aaron Rodgers will be fuming mad in his effort to get back to the Super Bowl for the first time since 2010.

Prediction: Cardinals lose (4-4)

Week 9

San Francisco 49ers (Away)

  • Date: Sunday, November 7
  • Time: 2:25 p.m. MST
  • TV: FOX

After having an extended break from their last game against Green Bay, the Cardinals head to the Bay Area to attempt their revenge for dropping the first game. This game will be a defensive battle, highlighted by a game-winning sack by first-round draft pick Zaven Collins in a statement win for the team.

Prediction: Cardinals win (5-4)

Week 10

Carolina Panthers (Home)

  • Date: Sunday, November 14
  • Time: 2:05 p.m. MST
  • TV: FOX

The 2020 loss to Carolina was arguably the most frustrating of the year, as the Cardinals lost badly without Budda Baker in this game. Hopefully, he is still healthy and performing as the top-rated safety in the league by the time this game comes around. Sam Darnold has never played the Cardinals in his career, so this matchup will be intriguing to see.

This is a decisive win for the Cardinals.

Prediction: Cardinals win (6-4)
