Chandler Jones – OLB
For a while there, it looked as if the Cards had made the correct call in not handing outside linebacker Chandler Jones a lucrative extension this past spring. Now, that decision does not look as clear-cut as it once did.
Jones has had a rollercoaster campaign thus far this year for “Big Red”. The 6-foot-5, 265-pounder looked completely unstoppable in Week 1, notching an eye-popping five sacks during a blowout triumph over the Tennessee Titans.
The three-time Pro Bowler virtually disappeared in the weeks that followed, but a recent surge in his play has proven to be vital for the Arizona defense. Jones is a bona fide leader who can still produce on the field, so a new agreement with the 31-year-old should definitely be high on Keim’s to-do list in 2022.
