Cardinals make things interesting

The Cardinals have won routinely on the road in 2021. But one road game that didn’t come so easy came against the 2-11 Jacksonville Jaguars. Looking back to Week 3, the Cardinals found themselves in a two-score hole against the NFL’s most dysfunctional franchise.

They found their groove after a Bryon Murphy pick-six and wound up winning 31 to 19. Look for the Cardinals to find themselves in a similar situation in this game. Yeah, Murray will rack up the style points. And yes, the defense will celebrate a few hard-earned sacks.

But the Cardinals love, at home and on the road, to make these games closer than they need to be. They also did this against the Texans earlier in the year. And while they won the game 31 to 5, they didn’t show until the second quarter.

The Cardinals will win by two scores. But they will also find themselves down by two scores at some point in the ballgame. That’s just how the Cardinals roll in the Kliff Kingsbury era.
