Back in March, the Detroit Lions signed wideout Tyrell Williams to a one-year contract. The club had high hopes for the former undrafted free agent of the Los Angeles Chargers, but the relationship quickly deteriorated.

Williams suffered a concussion during a Week 1 contest, was placed on the injured-reserve list on September 23rd, and has not played since. The 6-foot-4, 210-pounder was released by Detroit last month and, if healthy, could quite possibly bring some juice to Arizona’s wide receiver group.

In 70 professional games (50 starts), Williams has racked up 199 catches, 3,195 yards, and 23 scores in stints for the Chargers, Raiders, and Lions. It wouldn’t cost Cards general manager Steve Keim anything to kick the tires on a speedster who has averaged 16.1 yards per reception during his NFL career.
