Arizona’s rushing attack vs. Dallas’ run defense

Kyler Murray has struggled as a passer in recent weeks. However, he has also run the ball well since returning from an ankle injury. Chase Edmonds put together a pair of good games in his first two contests back from injury. And while he once again finds himself on the injury report, he has participated in practice on both Wednesday and Thursday, indicating he will be good to go.

While the Cowboys have allowed just over 1,600 rushing yards in 2021, they have allowed 4.5 yards per carry, one of the highest in the league. The Cowboys also boast a stellar pass rush, with rookie Micah Parsons playing like a seasoned veteran in his prime.

Given the Cardinals’ ability to run the ball well coupled with the fact the Cowboys’ proneness to giving up huge chunks of yardage, look for Kyler and Company to run the ball often. It further helps that they should get center Rodney Hudson back into the lineup for Sunday’s matchup.
