5 Free agents who would make the Cardinals better right away

An offseason can’t go by without the Cards needing help at the cornerback position. Byron Murphy is solid, but defensive coordinator Vance Joseph desperately needs someone who can fill the number-one cover guy role.
Enter J.C. Jackson, the 26-year-old Pro Bowler from the New England Patriots. The fifth-year pro is coming off of a year in which he totaled 58 tackles, eight interceptions (one pick-six), and a whopping 23 pass breakups in 17 starts last fall.
Acquiring Jackson would be the final piece for one of the NFL’s finest young secondaries. The ball could ultimately be in Keim’s court to make it happen.
