2021 Team: Baltimore Ravens

The Cards’ run defense went on a downward spiral last season when J.J. Watt blew out his shoulder in Week 7. The five-time Pro Bowler will return next fall, but it wouldn’t hurt to give Watt some assistance along the defensive line.

Calais Campbell enjoyed nine outstanding campaigns with the Cardinals before being lured away by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2017. The 35-year-old spent the last two years with the Baltimore Ravens, but wouldn’t it be fantastic to have Campbell come back to finish his professional career with the club that drafted him?

Even at his advanced age, Campbell remained one of the league’s best defenders against the run in 2021. The 6-foot-8, 300-pounder could combine with Watt to give the Redbirds a sensational mix of experience, leadership, and run-stuffing ability on the front wall of their defense.
